Health and Safety, Legislation and Standards
At Creche Out the safety and security of the children in our care is paramount.
Although crèche out is a mobile childcare provider we aim at all times to meet the highest standards available in permanent childcare settings.
Staff
All Crèche Out child care facilities are managed by a qualified and experienced manager and staffed by a hand chosen team of fully qualified NNEB/NVQ level 3 certificate staff or qualified teachers. Each staff member holds an Enhanced Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) Certificate.
Our staff also hold level 2 Hygiene/food handling and Paediatric First Aid.
Safety runs hand in hand with good practice we have a team of highly motivated and caring staff whose main concern is the welfare of the children in the Crèche.
We choose our staff carefully to ensure a good mix of skills and personalities so that every child and parent will know that there will be a special someone to care for their child throughout the event crèche.
On arriving at the Crèche, your child will be introduced to a member of staff who will watch over them and be their friend, helper and carer.
Many of our staff will be familiar faces to those of you who have visited the Crèche before
We work to strict legal guidelines in relation to all aspects of mobile crèches, particularly regarding the ratio of carers to children; at most events our adult:child ratios exceed the required minimum, so parents are assured of the best possible care for their children.
Security
We provide a specific risk assessment for each event and liaise on site with health and safety and fire professionals to ensure the safest possible crèche.
Safety of children is paramount so we offer a secure sign in/out system, which has proved to be the most effective and secure way of ensuring that all the children are returned safely to their own parent/ guardian and ensures the complete protection of the children in our care.
We also offer specific Lost Children’s facilities for use at large public events
Policies and Procedures
Crèche Out regularly updates it’s policies and procedures and copies are available at every crèche.
Our staff are qualified and experienced nursery nurses with NNEB, NVQ 3 and CACHE Qualifications, as well as being smartly uniformed.
