Case Study: Voluntary Sector Parenting Course

Brief:

To supply a crèche to support a 12 week parenting course for teenage mums.

Crèche Out Solution:

  • Spoke with the client to discuss their wishes and requirements
  • Visited the site to do a risk assessment and discuss any special requirements
  • Produced site specific risk assessment and fire evacuation procedure.
  • Selected a staff team and met with them to discuss crèche requirements and any specialist or confidential information
  • A senior team member attended the first session of the crèche to introduce staff to the client and ensure implementation of any specific requirements or procedures.

Ensured that all parents were able to leave their children confidently and participate fully in the course and that all the children had positive happy experience.

“Many thanks to you and your team for all your hard work in setting up the Sensory Creche in our Pre-School. It was fantastic; the children had a wonderful morning exploring all of the resources. You have a fabulous selection of equipment, and provided myself and all of my staff with some great ideas that we are looking forward to implementing in our setting. The children particularly enjoyed the snow play, mirror boxes and the dark room with all of the lights and the doodleglow drawing boards were a big hit, along with the colour change bubble lights. We'd love to have you back at some time in the future and I really look forward to it!”
